Phlebotomy is a practical skill of collection blood or other body fluids from patients in order to perform lab tests or donate blood in blood bank. Phlebotomist course can be completed in a short period of time. Usually phlebotomy training classes last 2 to 6 months. Attend a phlebotomy training school and learn how to properly draw blood using different techniques such as venipuncture and arterial puncture with the help of needles, syringes, tubes and other phlebotomy medical tools and equipment.
